THE bank accused of ruining Christmas for thousands of Farepak customers is looking at a profit of more than Pounds 5billion this year.

Halifax Bank of Scotland, Britain's biggest mortgage lender and fifth largest bank, announced yesterday that it expects to make around Pounds 5.5billion up Pounds 700million in a year.
