Art Expert Seals the Deal with His Great Find

Summary

HIS champagne-fuelled parties with guests such as Samantha Cameron, Bryan Ferry and Stella McCartney are legendary, but now art dealer Ivor Braka has hosted the ultimate bash -- his own wedding.

After a whirlwind romance -- they were only engaged in June -- he and his fiancee, artist Sarah Graham, tied the knot at Chelsea register office last week, then held a lavish drinks reception at the Cholmondeley Room in the House of Lords, where artist Lucian Freud, author Lady Antonia Fraser and writer Sir Peregrine Worsthorne were among the guests. The nuptials mark an end to Braka's days as a 'walker' for Jerry Hall, the ex-wife of Mick Jagger. Braka, 54 -- an expert on the pictures of Francis Bacon -- met his bride on the Klosters ski slopes in April. Despite a 19- year age gap, he proposed two months later and Sarah, whose late father was cousin to the Duke of Montrose, moved into his home -- along with her pet snake.
