ANDY BADDELEY ran the fastest mile by a Briton for 20 years last night when he won the famous Dream Mile at Oslo's Bislett Stadium.

Baddeley, 25, a Cambridge graduate in aeronautical engineering and part-time university lecturer, lives with a chip implanted in his upper chest to monitor a heart prone to sudden bursts than can raise his pulse to 240 beats a minute.
