NEWSPAPERS should be banned from publishing images of the Prophet Mohammed, British Muslims insisted yesterday.

Caricatures that have outraged the Islamic world have not been published in the UK. But the Muslim Action Committee said the Press Complaints Commission should use its code of practice to stop papers doing so in future.
