HOUSEBUILDER Barratt is the latest company to close down its final salary pension scheme as the recession takes it toll.
Despite delivering an upbeat statement yesterday showing 'higher sales rates, lower cancellations and prices levelling', Barratt said it was shutting the scheme for the 350 staff who pay into the fund. It closed the pension to new workers in 2001.See the full content of this document
