BAUGUR, the Icelandic investment group that owns Hamleys and House of Fraser, is considering relocating its headquarters from Iceland to the UK after the conviction on book-keeping offences of Jon Asgeir Johannesson, its executive chairman, which carried a suspended sentence.

The Icelandic authorities require directors with suspended sentences to step down from their roles.
