SUNDERLAND boss Steve Bruce is ready to offer Craig Bellamy a dramatic return to the North East.
The 30-year-old former Newcastle forward joined Manchester City from West Ham for Pounds 14million in January, but with Emmanuel Adebayor ready to follow Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz to Eastlands, Bellamy's days look numbered. The move may not be popular with Sunderland fans who will remember Bellamy's spell at rivals Newcastle but Bruce is determined to make Sunderland the ninth club of the Welshman's career. The manager will also hold talks with striker Marouane Chamakh, of Bordeaux.
