SHEFFIELD United have resumed hostilities with West Ham by launching a new legal battle yesterday to claim 50million compensation for relegation from the Premier League.

In the latest twist to the saga, United will attempt to prove the Premier League's independent inquiry into the third party ownership of Carlos Tevez, resulting in a 5.5million fine for West Ham in April rather than a points deduction, was unjust.
