Summary
Over the next six weeks we are going back to basics - a mini wine school, if you like, where the homework is as enjoyable as you could imagine.
I have lined up six of the most famous grape varieties for us to examine in depth. Each week, I will focus on one grape and pick out collection of truly amazing examples for you enjoy. We are going to cover riesling, pinot noir, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and syrah. This week, we kick of with white sauvignon blanc. Sauvignon blanc makes one of the most attractive of all styles of wine refreshing, uplifting, citrusy and dry. The following bottles are classic representatives this cheery, cheeky category of wine.
