Summary
THREE years after the launch of their first Book Club, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's annual choices are dominating the official charts. A week after they announced their eight Summer Reads, every one has begun selling spectacularly. Two are already on best-seller lists after appearing on the couple's Channel 4 early- evening chat show. Sales of the 1920s tome, The House at Riverton by Kate Morton, have risen by 450 per cent, while Getting Rid of Matthew, a bitter tale of romance by Jane Fallon have increased by 400 per cent over the past ten days.
With six of the novels already in Waterstone's official Top 20 chart, all eight are tipped to enter the Top 10 by the end of the month. Each week over the coming two months three celebrities will appear on the couple's chatshow to review one of the titles.See the full content of this document
