Summary
LAST Sunday, I went to a boot sale. I came across a water- stained Monopoly game with no houses, a lighter with no gas, a torch with no batteries, clothes, shoes and jewellery with counterfeit designer labels, bootleg fags and tobacco, out-of-date sweets -- and people with no jobs worrying about whether they had enough petrol to get home.
There were boxes of British-made spanners going rusty and old engineering tools of long-gone industries which no one wanted -- and everywhere amid this clutter of commercial chaos were dealers selling wares marked 'Made in China'.See the full content of this document
