SNIFFER dogs could have to wear bootees when searching Muslim homes so as not to cause offence. The animals are considered unclean by some communities in Britain.
Under proposals by the Association of Chief Police Officers, they will be made to wear leather bootees in cases where Muslims object to having them in their home. Bootees are already used when sniffer dogs enter mosques.See the full content of this document
