BRITAIN is preparing a major assault in a bid to recapture the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday, following Aidan O'Brien's domination of the race in the past three years.

The presence of three very talented British-trained fillies in Sariska, Midday, and Miniver Rose --they finished first second and fifth respectively in the Epsom Oaks -- among 12 declared at yesterday's five-day stage gave clear indication of intent.
