SCOTLAND'S busiest airport must be sold to boost competition and improve conditions for millions of frustrated air passengers, it was ruled yesterday.

The Competition Commission said the near-monopoly of major UK airports held by BAA - formerly the British Airports Authority - had 'adverse consequences' for customers.
