Summary
DOCTORS may have found a way to identify the more aggressive types of prostate cancers, or 'tigers' as they are known to experts. At present treatment can be difficult because some cancers will never spread, and many older men die with the cancer rather than of it.
The widely used PSA test - which measures levels of the prostate specific antigen marker - can detect some cancers, but does not distinguish between fast- and slowgrowing tumours.See the full content of this document
