APART from losing a child you have loved, there can be no greater heartbreak for a woman than not being able to conceive a child at all. And I do not use that word heartbreak carelessly, because that's what it feels like to a woman who yearns to have a child, but who knows that fate or biology have conspired against her.

Whether through circumstances of ill health or treacherous ovaries, or not finding the right man, or leaving it too late, there are thousands upon thousands of women out there who mourn the children they can never have.
