EVERYBODY'S email and phone records could be laid open to police in a European-wide terror crackdown to be unveiled by Charles Clarke this week.

The Home Secretary wants data on phone conversations, text messages and computer correspondence from all 470million citizens across Britain and Europe to be held for up to 12 months for possible examination.
