Summary
LLOYDS TSB and Royal SunAlliance have said they will look at mis- selling claims made about endowment policies they sold before 1988.
The bank and the insurer had previously turned down some complaints stemming from sales before April 29, 1988: the day the Financial Services Act took effect. As a result, many homeowners with failing endowments were denied the chance of compensation simply because they were sold their policies too long ago.See the full content of this document
