JONNY WILKINSON is under consideration for a comeback this weekend, his seventh since winning the World Cup three years, two months and two days ago.

Newcastle will decide tomorrow whether to include him among their substitutes at Leicester on Saturday and ease him back into the Premiership for the first time in 12 weeks. His safe return one week before the Six Nations starts would point to England's absentee fly half reappearing before it finishes in mid-March.
