WE are certainly unfashionable and may be a bit slow on the uptake, but my county of Hampshire at least has the reputation of being a pretty friendly place.

Also with the glorious New Forest, exciting yachting off Lymington and the Isle of Wight attracting many visitors and two thriving maritime cities, we are comparatively prosperous.
