AS IN many of Mel Brooks' manic movie spoofs, for every gag that works in this cockeyed homage to Hitchcock, there are several that don't. So, while the take-off of the shower scene in Psycho is too obvious, Brooks (pictured with Madeline Kahn) provides a lovely moment on the freeway with the LA Symphony Orchestra.
