READING about Ian Paisley reminds me of 1973 when I was attached to the UDR in Ulster. We were keeping watch on the crowds when he was giving a speech.

Seeing me and my driver in an armoured car, he pointed to us and said 'That's our Army, the British Army, God bless them!' and the crowd cheered us and clapped.
