I TOOK redundancy from the NHS in the autumn, around the same time that the Irish government announced it would 100 pc guarantee Bank of Ireland savings. As Post Office accounts are run by the Bank of Ireland, I deposited Pounds 120,000 into the Post Office Instant Saver account on October 1.
