Summary
I SYMPATHISE with Ursula Hirschkorn's unhappiness about being a trophy wife (Femail), but I cannot accept that she is happy with how she looks like today, a generous size 16. You must achieve balance in your appearance, which in turn gives self-confidence and self- respect. But Ursula has allowed herself to believe she is happier - in her words - 'under a comfy duvet of flab'.
At 5ft 3in, I have battled with my weight all my life. I have tried all the diets and exercise regimes under the sun. Like the younger Ursula, I was a svelte women who felt unloved if I was not slim.
