A TEENAGE girl who drowned in a boating accident rang her best friend moments before she died and told her: 'If I don't get out tell my mummy I love her,' an inquest was told yesterday.

Sixteen-year-old Clare Steele died with her cousin Rory McAlinden, 18, when the canoe they were paddling during the night in Castlewellan Forest Park, Co. Down capsized.
