BRAIN cancer patients are being denied breakthrough drugs that could dramatically extend their lifespan.

A decision by the Government's drugs rationing body means that Temodal and Gliadel which have been hailed as the biggest breakthrough in treating brain tumours for three decades are not available on the NHS.
