The striker, who last week signed for Hull City, has decided to give up his share of the Pounds 200,000 transfer fee as a mark of gratitude to the club that kick-started his career after his release by Rangers.

Coincidentally, the Ibrox side's latest big-money signing - Pounds 400,000 striker Boyd - was praised last month when he handed Kilmarnock Pounds 20,000 towards their own youth programme.
