THE gloves are off in the latest radio takeover. Kiss FM owner Emap may launch a hostile bid for Scottish Radio Holdings after the Radio Clyde owner rebuffed a 1040p-a-share bid from its largest shareholder in April.

Emap already has 27pc of Scottish and is turning up the volume to win over owners of the rest after SRH 'declined to entertain an offer on these terms'.
