WE might have had the worst summer on record but yesterday revellers frolicked on the beach at Dublin's Sandycove while others strolled in the sun in Stephen's Green.
It seemed that after an abysmal and disappointing summer, autumn sun might spring eternal. Temperatures reached 17C, a great achievement, given the recent travesty that was the Irish summer.
