JOCKEY Kieren Fallon walked free from court yesterday after a trial over an alleged betting scam collapsed because blundering police used an Australian steward to analyse British horse races.

Detectives gave Ray Murrihy nothing more than a few videos and a copy of the Racing Post to assist him and failed to tell him to familiarise himself with UK racing rules.
