THERE'S a footnote to the Munich air disaster which affected me and my family and friends.
The sister aircraft to the crashed Elizabethan was mothballed for a while, then brought back for cargo service. In July 1968, she was carrying mares and foals, mostly belonging to bookmaker William Hill, two aircrew and five grooms from France into Heathrow.See the full content of this document
