THERE'S a footnote to the Munich air disaster which affected me and my family and friends.

The sister aircraft to the crashed Elizabethan was mothballed for a while, then brought back for cargo service. In July 1968, she was carrying mares and foals, mostly belonging to bookmaker William Hill, two aircrew and five grooms from France into Heathrow.
