ETIQUETTE -- that's how it started. I was discussing a certain aspect of backstage manners with my friend Gary, but I couldn't think of the right word.

Try as I might, it wouldn't pop into my mind. It took two days of racking my brain before it came back, but by then, of course, the conversation was long past and Gary didn't care any more.
