FREED Iraq hostage Norman Kember yesterday offered the men suspected of kidnapping him 'unconditional' forgiveness in a plea for them to be spared the death penalty.

A year to the day after his captors threatened to kill him unless their demands were met, the pensioner said he bore them 'no malice'.
