THERE was a delicious, big photograph of my favourite politician Bertie Ahern in the paper last weekend. His lips seemed to have disappeared into his mouth, leaving a thin, livid, corrugated scar. And in his baleful stare, you can see a reminder of the bitter expression, which flitted across his face so many times at the Mahon Tribunal when truth was coming a cropper.
