EVERY morning, Miriam Woolcombe gets up at 5am so she can fit in two hours of ice skating practice before school. The 12-year-old, a Scottish champion, practises 12 hours a week and dreams of one day winning a national title.
But now she fears her hopes could be dashed after council officials announced plans to axe her local ice rink.
