OUTGOING GAA president Nickey Brennan claims the Cork hurling emergency is ruining the association's credibility in the county.

Brennan revealed that he left it to his successor-inwaiting, Christy Cooney, to join director general Paraic Duffy in ultimately fruitless negotiations on Leeside last week as Cooney had 'local connections'.
