Do gipsies have a right to jump NHS queues? ; DEBATE

Summary

READING that the NHS Primary Care Service Framework has decreed that gipsies and other itinerants should be given preferential treatment at NHS surgeries and dentists (Mail), I thought I'd got the date mixed up with April 1. But apparently this is the latest bright policy idea from some do-gooding bureaucrats. The whole idea beggars belief, that these people, who make no National Insurance contributions or pay income taxes, are to be given priority ahead of war veterans and serving forces personnel. This is absolutely disgraceful. Perhaps the Commission for Racial Equality might care to look into whether we have a situation of racial discrimination against the indigenous population. The next time you are having problems making a doctor or dentist appointment, just tell the receptionist that you are a gipsy, and you'll jump the queue and will be seen immediately.
