OLD age is fun. I know that may sound crazy when, these days, it's considered blasphemy to suggest that old age is merry and confident compared with the insecurity and anxiety of youth, but it's true.
The surveys bear it out. Whenever they're asked, OAPs in Britain tell us that, provided they have a few savings and reasonable health, they are having the time of their lives.
