Summary
GROSS mortgage lending fell by 13pc in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, the Irish Banking Federation (IBF) indicated yesterday which was a 7pc increase from the first quarter of this year and the fourth quarter of 2007.
Mortgages issued were down 15pc in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, which compares with a fall of 25pc in the first quarter and a 22pc decline in the fourth quarter of 2007.See the full content of this document
