TONY BLAIR was under pressure to intervene on behalf of detainees at Guantanamo Bay last night after the British son of one asked him: 'Why is my dad in prison?' Ten-year-old Anas el-Banna wrote to the Prime Minister on the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the camp on Cuba.
His father Jamil is one of eight British residents held in the camp. The Government has refused to help them because they do not hold British citizenship.
