SLUMPED under a blanket in the dressing room o f a n American rock arena, a drinksodden musician tries to sleep off the Jack Daniel's before going on stage. He barely stirs as the uniformed men burst into the room and announce to his fellow bandmates they are about to raid the premises.

The men are not looking for anything so mundane as drugs they are searching for exotic wild animals, particularly parrots. For this is an Ozzy Osbourne tour, and Ozzy, the American press has convinced itself, bites the head off a wild animal at every show. Latest reports in this town suggest he has developed rather a taste for parrots.
