Hollinger's Legal Fees Over Black Reach Pounds 33m

HOLLINGER International, the US publisher that ousted Lord Black as chief executive in November 2003, clocked up legal fees of Pounds 33m last year as part of its investigation into Black's alleged 'looting' of the company.

Latest filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission show Hollinger made a loss from continuing operations of Pounds 91m last year, compared with a Pounds 49.4m loss in the prior year.
