AN IRAQI looter who claims his friend drowned after they were both forced into a canal at gunpoint by British soldiers admitted yesterday that he lodged a complaint in the hope of compensation.

Aiad Salim Hanon, 26, told a court martial how he feared for his life as the soldiers cocked their weapons and pushed the captured looters into the water.
