Got forward more as the game wore on but missed chance at the death STEVEN NAISMITH Operated from the right wing and displayed his impressive aerial strength with a couple of decent headed efforts on the Unirea goal STEVEN DAVIS The Northern Ireland international was asked to get forward as much as possible and threaded some nice passes while working hard for the team KEVIN THOMSON Tenacious display from the midfielder, who almost found the net when he tested Giedrius Arlauskis with a 25-yard free-kick before the break LEE McCULLOCH Back in the side as a holding midfielder and his combative style helped dull the threat of the Romanians, before smashing in the opener from 25 yards KYLE LAFFERTY Was given a rollicking by assistant manager Ally McCoist for some sloppy moments but was desperately unlucky with one fine right-foot shot KENNY MILLER Great run almost resulted in a goal after half an hour, but blotted his copybook by scuffing a simple chance straight at keeper Arlauskis.
