INSURER Hiscox (up 1634p at 280p) heaved a sigh of relief as Hurricane Dean - which hit Kingston, Jamaica, pictured - swept south away from the US Gulf coast, reducing the chances it will be faced with huge disaster claims from oil majors in the area.
Chairman Robert Hiscox said the Lloyd's underwriter was stung for 55m from British flood claims in the first half, and would take another 20m hit in the second half.
