THE IRISH manufacturing sector rose to a nine-month high last month, the latest NCB Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) shows.
The index rose to 54 in June, from 51.9 in May. This is its highest level since September 2006. Any reading above 50 indicates growth in activity. New orders hit a 12-month high in June at 56.4, up from 53 in May, the sub-index showed.See the full content of this document
