HOW refreshing to have a Daily Mail columnist who is neither politically nor culinarily correct.
Notwithstanding her 'non-meat Mondays' pact with the eco- warriors, I offer a warmhearted welcome to Janet Street-Porter. Long may she dine out on her Tuesday lamb chops, hopefully, served with early new potatoes, spring cabbage with mint sauce, all grown in an English garden to the strains of Elgar or Vivaldi. Even Wagner goes down well with a rare rump steak and English -- catch my breath -- mustard.
