MORE than 8,000 troops were searching yesterday in the 'Triangle of Death' for two American soldiers feared to have been captured in Iraq.

A militant group linked to Al Qaeda boasted it was holding the soldiers following a shootout at a checkpoint in an insurgent stronghold at Yusufiya, south-west of Baghdad.
