Summary
BARNET boss Paul Fairclough tipped Tresor Kandol for a bright future after the striker scored twice to knock out Cardiff.
Kandol struck either side of halftime at Ninian Park as his League Two side claimed a famous 2-0 win. Fairclough said: 'Kandol has been a prolific scorer at nonleague level and he took both his goals very well. He's going to be a big player, not just for Barnet but on a wider stage.' Cardiff made 10 changes from the side which beat Leeds on Saturday but manager Dave Jones defended his decision to field a different side. He said: 'I couldn't afford any of my firstteam players to get injured. It wasn't a good result but it has given me the chance to see some of our young players in action and they did well.'
