Summary

BARNET boss Paul Fairclough tipped Tresor Kandol for a bright future after the striker scored twice to knock out Cardiff.

Kandol struck either side of halftime at Ninian Park as his League Two side claimed a famous 2-0 win. Fairclough said: 'Kandol has been a prolific scorer at nonleague level and he took both his goals very well. He's going to be a big player, not just for Barnet but on a wider stage.' Cardiff made 10 changes from the side which beat Leeds on Saturday but manager Dave Jones defended his decision to field a different side. He said: 'I couldn't afford any of my firstteam players to get injured. It wasn't a good result but it has given me the chance to see some of our young players in action and they did well.' He coolly struck from 12 yards with his first touch just five minutes from time after a pass from Mark Wright.
