KRIS GILCHRIST became the fifth Scottish swimmer to book his ticket to the Olympics when he smashed the Scottish 100m breaststroke record in Sheffield yesterday.
The 24-year-old, who will join Kirsty Balfour, Gregor Tait, Caitlin McClatchey and David Carry on the flight to Beijing, clocked 1min 1.06sec in finishing second to Chris Cook. His winning time of 59.88sec set a new Commonwealth and British record.See the full content of this document
